PhotoSync is intended to transfer, backup and share media over various kinds of locations, including computers, portable devices, and cloud services. Luckily, the tool is very easy to use and most of the time you can simply drag the desired photo or video and drop it on the floating window so that it is transferred to the selected destination. It is excellent that you do not even need to worry about making the transfers yourself, as the tool can automatically send the photos or videos you take to the selected target location.
The application supports transfers over a Wi-Fi, to another computer, an FTP server or WebDav service. For this purpose, it can keep a record of whatever you have done to avoid unnecessary repetition of the same actions. Moreover, you do not even need a computer because direct sharing of photos and videos between iOS and Android devices is also allowed using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections. Another advantage of the application is that the paired devices do not have to be running the same type of operating system, which means you can easily transfer data from iOS, Windows and Android without much complication. Various cloud services are supported, including the most popular ones, such as Picassa, Dropbox, Google Plus, Google Drive, Amazon Cloud Drive, Facebook, OneDrive and Flickr.
In a nutshell, I cannot think of any reason not to recommend PhotoSync to you. It seems to me it is a perfect way to keep your personal photos and videos protected from accidental losses and to share them with your friends. However, you should bear in mind that sharing your stuff over the Internet entails certain risks.
